Is the BHL Cooling Tower truly CTI certified? What are the benefits for customers?

CTI is a leading independent organization that conducts rigorous performance testing. This means that the cooling capacity (in tons of refrigeration) stated on the nameplate is real and measurable, not just a theoretical estimate. This eliminates the risk of underperformance that could disrupt your production process.
We have an old X brand cooling tower that we want to replace. We heard that BHL can be installed without replacing the existing foundation and pipes. How is this possible?
IThis is one of the main advantages of BHL in retrofit projects. Our engineering team will conduct a detailed survey to:
Measure the dimensions and bolt pattern of the existing foundation
Mapping the position, size, and flanges of the inlet and outlet pipes.
We will then design and manufacture a new BHL unit specifically tailored to all existing dimensions. As a result, the new unit can be directly installed on the old foundation, and existing pipes can be connected without requiring modifications or re-welding, thereby significantly saving costs and downtime.

This type of filler, where the fill media is suspended on a rack in a downward-facing arrangement, has two main practical advantages:
Easy to Clean: Dirt, scale, or deposits that stick will immediately fall into the basin below and not get trapped between the layers of fill. This makes cleaning and flushing easier.
Easy to Replace: For replacement, technicians do not need to enter the cell and dismantle many parts. The process of removing and installing the fill is faster, easier, and safer, which means reduced labor costs and downtime.
Save on glue costs. The high cost of filler glue and the large amount required can be eliminated by using hanger-type filler. This means that when replacing the filler, you can save on costs.
For applications with high water temperatures (above 60°C), what does BHL offer?
BHL provides filler options made from polypropylene (PP) material that is specifically designed to withstand high temperatures. Compared to standard PVC fillers, PP material has a much higher melting point and thermal resistance, so it does not warp or break easily under thermal stress, ensuring a longer service life and performance in extreme conditions.
We are concerned about noise. What can BHL do?
BHL is deeply concerned about noise pollution. We offer two levels of solutions:
Low Noise: Standard configuration designed to produce lower noise levels than typical cooling towers.
Super Low Noise: A special configuration that combines the use of a fan motor and a specially designed, inherently quieter design. This solution is ideal for urban areas, hospitals, hotels, or office buildings.
EC FAN: EC (Electronically Commutated) Fan is the latest fan motor technology that is highly energy efficient. By replacing just one cell of a conventional fan motor with an EC Fan, you can achieve significant energy savings (up to 50% or more). In addition to being energy efficient, the advantages include: minimal vibration, more precise speed control, and quieter operation.

Can water cooling towers use recycled water from STP?
It is possible, but it should first be treated using an ultrafiltration or nanofiltration system. Sand and carbon filters alone are not sufficient, as the cooling tower will quickly become dirty and algae will grow rapidly. We also treat water from cooling towers sourced from STP water.
Ultrafiltration is the standard for clean water. This filter has pores measuring 0.01 microns. It is widely used in buildings and hotels.
Nanofiltration is the standard for cooling towers and chillers. With 60-70% recovery, this filter is more suitable for use as a feed water filter.
Our system consists of unit sales and rentals. For those of you who don't want to be bothered with OPEX and CAPEX systems, you can use the rental system option.
What about the corrosion resistance of BHL units, especially for applications in seaside areas?
BHL very attention to corrosion resistance. For applications in coastal areas or environments with high salt content, we recommend special materials and finishes, such as:
The structure uses galvanized steel with epoxy coating or 304/316 stainless steel for extra durability.
Casing and basin made of fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) that is naturally resistant to corrosion and marine environments.
Screws, bolts, and other hardware also use rust-resistant materials.
